If you've been shopping lately you may notice shelves are emptier than usual. Unfortunately, this may only worsen as we get closer to Christmas. The supply chain is broken in many international ports and an easy fix is unlikely to happen any time soon. As we enter into the peak importing season for the year, it could result in empty shelves at Christmas time - another obstacle for retailers to face.
